Bioshock Infinite Will Not Have Multiplayer

Bioshock is creepy. It's disturbing. And it's fun as hell. But where the other titles were in the deep, dark ocean, Bioshock Infinite brings the setting out of the dark and into the light. Floating in a city of the clouds with the beautiful views, the game still keeps it's predecessors' depressing atmosphere. However, with new additions comes subtractions as well.

Confirmed by Ken Levine, Bioshock Infinite will not feature multiplayer. This seems like a step backward, but anyone who played Bioshock 2's multiplayer will understand why it was done. Massive imbalance, horrendous lag, extremely low numbers and poor map design all led to the multiplayer being mainly a novelty act. It was poorly executed and really emphasized why Bioshock is meant to be a single player game.

It doesn't hurt my opinion of the game in the slightest and I really look forward to exploring the newest setting in the Bioshock universe.
