Black Ops II DLC "Revolution" Hits Xbox Jan. 29th/PS3 + PC Feb. 28th

Activision has confirmed the first Black Ops II DLC pack "Revolution" will contain 5 maps, a new weapon, and a new zombie game mode. A leaked image of the DLC a few weeks ago hinted at the maps but it did not describe them. Thankfully, Amazon has taken care of that for us.
  • Hydro: This large map allows you to use the dam and water to your advantage to block paths and stop enemies.
  • Downhill: A medium-sized map based in the French Alps complete with snow, chair lifts, and a strategically placed lodge.
  • Grind: Set within the locale of the Venice, California boardwalk, this small skate park map is sure to deliver fast and frenetic Call of Duty action.
  • Mirage: This Gobi Desert multiplayer map utilises sand dunes to provide different levels of elevation and a sanctuary in the centre as a natural chokepoint.
  • Zombies - Die Rise: The Zombie apocalypse has invaded China, turning downtown into a dilapidated and dangerous MC Escher painting.
Also confirmed is the new Peacekeeper SMG. Since most players have been using the SMG's due to their firepower and compact frame, this will no doubt be seen on just about every player's arsenal. As for the new game mode, players don't just shoot zombies. They are zombies.

Take a look at the DLC trailer here:

Revolution will hit Xbox 360 on January 29th for 1200 MSP (free for season pass holders). PS3 and PC gamers will have to wait until February 28th.
