LEGO unleashes it's newest creation: Marvel Superheros

LEGO has had quite a successful adaptation to video games with the Star Wars franchise, LEGO Batman (1&2), Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, and the newest Lord of the Rings game. LEGO is back with an all new setting, Marvel comics. That's right, we're gonna see some Spidey LEGO action.

The game will feature over 100 unlockable characters like Thor, Hawkeye, Loki, Galactus, Captain America, and, as you can see in the image above, the one, the only, Deadpool.
“We’re very excited to bring a myriad of classic Marvel characters to life in LEGO form for some fun, family-friendly gameplay in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes,” said Tom Stone, TT Games' Managing Director. “Players will brave the ultimate mission to save the world as they explore famous landmarks in LEGO New York and take the adventure beyond Earth to iconic locations in the Marvel Universe.”
With an original storyline featuring the Earth's mightiest heroes, players can revel in the ability to shoot repulsers as Iron Man, take apart anything in your way using Wolverine's adamantium claws, swing from webbing as your friendly neighborhood Spider Man, or just smash everything as the strongest hero there is, the Hulk. This time, Loki and Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds, have teamed up to take on these heroes in a battle for the very Earth itself. That doesn't sit too well with Nick Fury, so the general "Hey, anyone who wants to trash some bad guys, get over here" call is made.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will launch on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS and DS this fall.
