Gears of War producer moves on to Mass Effect 4

Chris Wynn, previously the senior producer of Gears of War Judgment, made a surprising announcement on Tuesday. Wynn, who has been a key player in the Gears franchise for the past two games, is leaving Epic and moving on to BioWare.

While the title has not been confirmed to be “Mass Effect 4″ and is merely referred to as  “the next Mass Effect”, it’s not unreasonable to look at it as a continuation game.

Thrilled to announce that I will be joining as the Sr. Development Director on the next Mass Effect! - Chris Wynn
Wynn is not the first high profile member of the Gears team to leave Epic in recent months. Lee Perry left Epic to create his own studio, followed by the previous Gears of War senior producer Rod Fergusson last summer, with design director Cliff Bleszinski leaving in October, and Epic President Mike Capps retiring last December.

Hopefully we get to here more about the new Mass Effect game in the near future.
